So kamusta naman your biyahe yesterday? Sinumpa niyo din ba ang EDSA? Kamote lang talaga din yung mga hindi nagiisip ano? Imagine, closing parts of EDSA without declaring a holiday from work? Uulanin ka talaga ng mura niyan. EDSA’s super traffic na nga on a normal day eh. Everybody knows that. Mageevent pa kayo. May mga magwewelga pa. Then everybody was still required to go to work?
Ang sakit sa bangs.
Hay buti na lang maganda ang dress ko the other day. Hihihi.
For a few weeks now, I have been receiving a lot of inquiries about Brazilian Waxing.
Tara na nga, pagusapan na natin yan =) For the Brazilian Waxing virgins out there, this is for you =)
One, Brazilian Waxing is the removal of all hair in the pelvic area. When I say all, as in lahat. Sa harap, sa gilid, sa gitna and sa butt. Ladies (and sometimes some men) do this most of the time during summer because pubes sticking out of the bikini bottom is, you know, not culturally acceptable. Nakakahiya naman din na rampa ka ng rampa sa beach or sa pool area tapos ang sexy sexy mo tapos ang daming excess hair lumalabas labas sa may crotch area, di ba?
Two, the procedure of the Brazilian Waxing is quite simple. The hair should be a least 1/4 inch long. Hindi kakapit kasi ang wax sa hair if it’s shorter. The waxing therapist will spread tolerable hot wax in one part of the area. She will make you chika while the wax hardens a little. Then she will say, “Hinga ng malalim, Ma’am.”. You will take a deep breath and she will forcefully pull the wax (on the opposite direction of its growth) with all the hairs sticking on it. She will make conversation again while patting the area to take away your thoughts on the pain.
Three, hindi na ako magpapaligoy ligoy pa. The procedure for Brazilian Waxing hurts. Lalo na if first time mo because the roots of your pubic hair down there is makapal pa. The part that hurts the most for me is when they are waxing off the hair dun sa triangle area sa may slit. Nevertheless, hindi ito nakakamatay. If you have survived child birth, chicken na chicken na ito sa inyo. Sa mga dalaga pa, you have to remember that it takes pain to be beautiful. Tiis ganda, ika nga. My tip here is that you drink one 500mg Ibuprofen medicine one hour before your waxing appointment. It lessens the pain ng slight. Also it’s best to have your waxing at least once a month para hindi kakapal ang roots. With that, hindi siya magiging that painful.
Four, the procedure is done in a private clean room. The procedure will take 15 to 30 minutes depending on how much hair you have down there or how much time you need to recover in between removal of hair. You will be asked to remove your undies and be made to lie down on a bed.
Five, the only person allowed there is your waxing therapist and you. Yes muther, bubukangkang ka ng todo dun for the waxing therapist to be able to wax off all the hair. You don’t have to be shy though because I bet, hindi na mapapansin ng therapist how your vajayvay looks like. She probably looks at at least 50 vajayjays in a day so for sure, umay na umay na yan sa hitsura ng isang pekpek. Having seen so many vajayjays already, they will all look alike to her. Also, they will take away the hair in your butt hole. Don’t worry, hindi ito masyadong masakit.
Five, it is best if you have to have your waxing done in a kilalang waxing studio. I have mine done at either The Strip or at Wink. Comparing these two to the other waxing salons that I have been to, they’re a lot cleaner. Remember, it is very important to be mindful of how clean they are. Like at Wink, I appreciate that you can wash your vajayjay first in their toilets before the treatment. Kumpleto sila sa needs mo: tissue, bidet, feminine wash, soap and alcogel. In these two waxing studios, very clean ang rooms. They wear gloves. They do not double dip the stick that they use to put wax on you. After they use one, they throw it away agad. Also, they have better methods. They can take out the hair quicker, meaning in a lesser number of waxing strips, so less ang pain.
Six, my OBGYN said that it is not healthy naman daw to have no hair down there all the time. Pubes were place there in your vajayjay for a purpose. They help in guarding your vajayjays from bacteria. So with that, sometimes, I leave a strip in the middle. Landing strip naman ang tawag dun. Tamang tama, the strip is located in the part na most painful pagwinax. Just tell your waxing therapist about this and she will know what you are talking about.
Seven, baka magulat ka, for sure hindi bubula ang PH Care diyan when you wash afterwards.
Eight, speaking of washing, here are the things that are not allowed within 6 hours after your waxing session: washing, exercise, swimming, tight clothing and sex. You can also exfoliate the area after three days to prevent ingrowth.
Nine, common sense, they will not wax you if you have your monthly period.
Ten, inform the waxing therapist if it’s your first time.
So there, did I answer na all your questions? =) If you have other questions, type it at the comment section below para masagot ko ha?
