Back when we were still going to have a grand party for Anika, I was conditioning Alvin Sombrero for the gastos. Baka kasi mag-collapse pagnalaman how much ang gagastusin.
In fairness naman to me, mga bakla, and para magdalawang isip muna ang mga blog trolls ko bago magcomment, I have been saving up of Anika’s 7th birthday party since the day after her first birthday party.
Since that day, I knew it will be grand. I knew it will be expensive. She is our only child so I never had hesitations sa gastos. Stress, dugo at pawis naman namin mag-asawa ang ginamit para maka-ipon so I don’t see why anybody can have a say on how we want to have Anika’s 7th birthday party.
However, Anika is no longer one year old. Six years ago, I was the one who decided on the party theme and for everything. Now, that’s no longer the situation. Anika is very well-opinionated and she knows exactly what she wants.
Hindi pala party ang gusto niya. She wanted to go to Legoland instead. Well, she wanted to have both the party and Legoland but heller, tuition pa and ang gara naman if both so we made her choose.
She chose Legoland.
When we told the grandparents about it, kumontra ang mga lola. Dapat may party daw kahit maliit lang because she’s 7 years old. Seven year olds have birthday parties. Hence, the surprise party for Anika that we pulled off successfully on the day of her birthday.
Here are some photos from Fonz. Galing niya magkuha din =) Thanks Fonz!
I know what you want to ask me. Kilala ko na kayo eh and ganyan tayo! Sharing is caring.
So, how much is the damage for both the surprise party and the Legoland?
I am happy to report that the actual cost for both it’s not that expensive as I expected. You can totally have a simple party plus an out of the country trip for the 7th birthday of your kids! Naging mahal lang talaga because maarte ako. Here, I’ll show you the breakdown. I will indicate if optional or not yung item so you can see.
For Anika’s surprise party actual cost:
Php 26,000: Shakey’s (package for 70 guests (with kids))
Php 13,500: Additional pax (5 orders @ Php 2,700 for 10 person)
Php 4,200: Cookies *optional
Php 6,500: Cake *may be lessened depending on your design
Php 4,000: Balloons for venue decor *optional
Php 5,000: Party backdrop *optional
Php 1,300: Face painter *optional
Php 3,000: Game prizes from Divisoria *optional because Shakey’s has na
Total: Php 63,500
If less yung mga ka-artehan ko: Php 32,500 (with a Php 6,500 cake na yan ha?)
For the Legoland actual cost:
Php 33,408.39: Airline tickets (You can get this cheaper if you book in advanced. I booked a month before kaya mahalia na)
Php 4,000: Airport tax (kamote, I got surprised we had to pay for airport tax)
Php 34,549.21: Legoland Hotel for 3days and 2nights stay (for 3 pax)
Php 4,955.08: Legoland Theme Park tickets (for 3 pax)
Php 3,227.62: Legoland Water Park tickets (for 3 pax)
Php 5,700: V Hotel Lavender (hotel in SG)
Php 3,600: Private car fare from SG airport to Legoland
Php 4,680: Private car fare from Legoland to SG (more expensive because booked from Legoland hotel)
*Not included is the pocket money which depends sa inyo how much you want to bring. This is for your taxi or MRT fare, food in SG and in Legoland (lunch and dinner) and shopping.
See? Without my arte for the party, you can have both a party and an out of town trip for only Php 150,000 if around Php 20,000 lang ang pocket money niyo!
I hope this helps guys.
Stand by for the Legoland theme and water park posts soon!
