When I first tried a Bliss Bowls smoothie in Megamall, I fell instantly in love.
I’m that type of girl who loves desserts especially ice cream. I can eat a lot of ice cream in one sitting. When I say a lot, eto yung hindi normal na a lot. Madami talaga. Hence, my pre-diabetic stage now. Favorite ko kasi talaga yung matamis and frozen.
Anyway, one of the reasons why I love the smoothie bowls of Bliss Bowls is that it’s like you’re eating healthy ice cream. I was actually surprised because they do not use water and they do not put sugar in their bowls. All the ingredients are just frozen then blended. Napakasarap, mga bakla. It has the right kind of sweetness. It’s delicious and the same time healthy because fresh na fresh ang mga ingredients.
I almost did cartwheels when Bliss Bowls in Megamall offered to host an intimate brunch for me with my blog readers!
There are only 12 seats in their Megamall branch so I can only invite 10 ladies because Bliss Bowls also invited Pineda which was perfect. I’ve always wanted her to try Bliss Bowls. Sure na sure ako na magugustuhan niya.
The first brunch schedule was rescheduled kasi my boss called for a Saturday Operations meeting. I crossed everything I have so that matuloy na yung second schedule for brunch. Buti na lang nag-push kami.
Anika and I arrived early. My invited blog readers were early too. I love it!
We ordered the DESSERT DUOS.
These are smoothie bowls in dessert sizes – half the smoothie base, but with full toppings! The dessert bowls start at only P125 per bowl and are perfectly portioned for dessert or a snack.
When these ladies’ orders arrived, they were surprised because malaki pa din ang servings kahit half size lang siya. I told them ganun talaga. The regular sized bowl is very filling. Super sulit and affordable the prices of the smoothies of Bliss Bowls. Compared to buying all the ingredients and making them at home, competitive talaga ang price.
And I was right too!
They all loved their smoothie bowls! Nakakatuwa because they were all nodding in agreement when we were eating. Masarap nga daw talaga. Told you.
Anika loves her smoothie bowls is an understatement. Nakikipag-agawan pa talaga yan sa akin. And hindi naman mukha talagang sarap na sarap ako in that photo. Hahaha! Huling huli sa background.
Cacao Kiss is my favorite.
So what did we do during the brunch?
First, we introduced ourselves. Parang meeting lang haha! But no naman. Everything was very spontaneous and light, just the way I like it.
So nice pala if intimate gathering lang ano? I get to know more about each of my blog readers. They told me what they do for a living, ano ang mga kinabi-busihan nila. They told anecdotes how they discovered my blog and how they read it every day at work. They told me that their officemates read my blog too. Nakakatuwa grabe. The best part for me is hearing about how I touched their lives. Iba mga mare. It’s very humbling. Ang sarap ng feeling ng nakakatulong and nakakapag-pasaya ng mga tao. Maraming salamat talaga.
And then after all the introductions were made, nagkwentuhan na kami. I told them stories that I do not share here sa blog. Tawanan kami ng tawanan. I told them tidbits and information na I’ve never made kwento here. They also asked me personal questions that I gamely answered naman. Walang secret secret! Hahahaha! I’m happy to know that they really do try and buy the products that they see on the blog. Kaya careful na careful ako magendorse ng whatever. I make sure gusto ko talaga. I treasure the trust that you guys give me and my blog.
Intense ang chismisan. Lelz.
Maeko and Anika were busy with my phone while we were having brunch.
We also ordered the Amazing Kale smoothie so we can try it. Like the other bowls, it’s good and very refreshing. Ang sarap din kumain if you know that what you’re eating is healthy.
Of course may raffle ng konti. I raffled off Mommy Fleur notebooks and the Sweet Dreams book by my mommy friend Zia. Bliss Bowls gave out GCs for the best Instagram photos for that day.
Thank you ladies for taking time to have brunch with me. Bitin na bitin ang kwentuhan!
Before everyone left, picture taking kami for souvenirs =)
I know I say this often but I love that my best friend’s a professional photographer! Hahahaha!
When we all got home, I was vibering with Pineda. She told me that I should do this more often, yung mga intimate get together with my blog readers. I think she’s right. Gawin natin ito again because I love meeting you girls. Ang sarap niyo ka-chikahan! Abangan my invite soon!
