Sino ba ang nagpauso ng jetlag?! This is the hardest I have been hit since umm… I dunno, since I started traveling?
Actually, before, I was proud because I can catch up with my jetlag ng mabilis. When I arrive in a country, titiisin ko lang na wag matulog so I can sleep at the proper hour. The next day, okay na ako. I could do that. And then when I come back home, ganun din. Although, I don’t know why pero it’s harder to fix jetlag when you’re back in Manila. Wala na kasi siguro yung excitement and adrenaline mo for the trip kaya hirap. But still, I make tiis not to sleep and then the next day, I’m okay na. The first day talaga is the groggiest. Para akong zombie but after that, everything is close to normal.
That is why takang taka ako bakit ako hirap ngayon. I couldn’t sleep straight since Saturday. Last Tuesday was wild. Parang binabarena ulo ko sa sakit the whole freaking day. Wa-epek ang Biogesic. I was so sleepy that when I close my eyes while walking, makakatulog talaga ako. It was that bad. It was so funny because I got home before 7pm and found Alvin watching TV. I cuddled beside him. Nagkukwento siya. Hindi ko namalayan, I fell asleep na. Alvin said nakwento na daw niya buong buhay niya pero tulog na pala ako. Salita siya ng salita, wala na pala siyang kausap. Sana may video. Hahaha! He woke me up to have dinner. After, ayun, I can’t sleep naman. Hay naku. But things are a little better na now. Yesterday I went Muay Thai para kako pagod ako. When I got home, I did meditation after dinner. Nakatulog ako. Hahahahahaha! Kaloka!
It feels really good to be back, though. I missed Alvin and Anika so much so naka-siksik lang ako sa kanila the whole weekend. I’m back to waking up at 4:30am to prepare Anika’s baon and I’ve started bringing her to school again. It’s one of my favorite things to do. Ang lakas maka-bonding with her.
Speaking of Anika, look what Sunnies Specs Kids got her:
Anika was so happy! She has been bugging me to get her eyeglasses eh okay naman eyes niya. This Sunnies Specs Kids are eyeglasses that are just for watching TV or when they’re using their gadgets. The lenses are screen safe so she’s protected from the harmful radiation coming from the gadget screens. Best of all, they are being sold (like other Sunnies Specs) for only Php 1,999.
Check out all the cuteness in the video below.
Nice di ba?
So there you go. That’s what’s happening in my first week back from Amsterdam.
Also, please come and watch on Saturday because I will be giving a talk about working moms at the ExpoMom at Alabang Town Center at 11am. Punta kayo ha? I would love to see you guys there!
Have a great day!
