Anika and I spent the day in the mall last Saturday with Wowa. Alvin didn’t go with us because he was cleaning our old house in Sucat that we are selling. So nice nga eh kasi while he was there, there were 3 buyers agad! They were all interested. Iniisip ko tuloy bakit ganun. Baka we are selling it super mura.
Nothing’s super final yet with a specific buyer. If you are interested to view it, let me know. It’s a bungalow with an estimated area of 150 sqm sitting on a 190 sqm lot. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 toilet and bath. You’ve seen the inside already because I blogged about the before and after photos of it here, di ba? Here are the photos of the areas of the house just in case you’re interested =)
Whenever we meet up with Wowa in Makati, we always eat breakfast at Seattle’s Best in SM. I love their Almond Mocha Joy decaf coffee with non-fat milk (pero with whipped cream pa din lelz).
We went around looking for a Veronica Lodge outfit for Anika. Good thing sale pa din at H&M. We found a nice black skirt for her that was on sale. Anika also wanted to buy shoes. I found her on the floor of H&M surrounded by different kinds of shoes that she was trying to fit.
ME: O, may nakita ka?
ANIKA: Yes Nanay. This one.
I looked at the price. Php 1,200! Anika must have noticed the look on my face.
ANIKA: Expensive ba, Nanay?
ME: Medyo, anak.
ANIKA: Sige. Ikot ikot pa tayo. Baka may mas mura sa SM.
Nakakatuwa tong batang to.
I remembered when her school sent a slip for her school tuition balance. Nagtaas kasi yung tuition. Medyo na-annoy ako.
ANIKA: Why, Nanay?
ME: Ang mahal ng tuition mo, sweetheart. Nagdagdag pa sila more.
ANIKA: When will you pay for it?
ME: It’s not due naman until October so hanap muna si Nanay ng money.
Anika brought out her jar containing her savings. Puno ng mga 20 pesos and coins.
ANIKA: Here, Nanay. Use this to pay for all of that.
Natawa ako. I hugged her.
ME: It’s okay. I can handle it. Basta promise mo lang you will study hard, okay?
Napakabait talaga. At least at this age, she knows that we work hard to pay for the things she need.
Anyway, back to last Saturday, Anika kept on bugging me to do the In My Feelings dance. Alvin prohibited us from doing it sa car mismo.
ALVIN: Tigilan niyo yang mga kalokohan niyong mag-ina!
So we just did the dance while waiting for the sales lady who was getting a new stock of the trash can that we were buying. Do you wanna see it? Wag kayong tatawa. Hehe.
With the help of Pineda, I’m trying to fix the interior of my house. Apart from my fabulous bookshelves, it still looks like we just moved in. Pineda knows how indecisive I am in the color theme of my house so she said I should pick first ano ba talaga ang gusto kong kulay sa loob.
I finally decided the colors to be black, white, gray, wood and touches of green.
Fine daw. I need to fix first the major furniture bago daw ako bumili ng mga anik anik.
I wanna sell na my rotating center table in my living room dahil nahihilo na ako sa kanya. I saw these center tables in EDIA.
Here’s the rectangular version of the round table.
I think I will buy this. I already asked Alvin and he agreed. I also like the carpet. Baka isama ko na din yan.
I have a huge blank white wall that needs a painting or a framed something to be hanged. Nagustuhan ko itong black and silver na ito. Wowa wanted to buy it na for me. Inawat ko lang because it costs Php 20,000. I shall ask Pineda kako first if bagay ba sa house. Bagay naman daw sabi ni Wowa. Bilhin na daw. Sabi ko maghunusdili. Paghindi bagay yan, baka ipanguya sa akin ni Alvin. That’s metal pa naman. Mahal ko pa ang mga ipin ko.
While walking around Glorietta, I found the @archipelagohomeph store!
There were so many cute stuff there! Check out their IG, dali!
We met up with Toots and Russ to celebrate Russ passing an important exam. We had late lunch at Friday’s and had dessert at Paper Moon Cafe. After nun, we all went home na.
It was a great day =)
