Magpaparamdam lang ako so that you’ll see na buhay pa ako hahahaha!
God, I’m so addicted to Koreanovelas now! If I start one, hindi ko talaga tinitigilan matapos. I’m that kind of person. That means, wala talaga ako na-aaccomplish the whole day. Since I started watching, I’m not able to blog anymore. I also put to hold the editing of the videos! Ang dami na nun ah! =D Kita niyo naman kasi, I start watching ng umaga. When I look out again, wala madilim na. I sleep at around 3 to 4am. Natutulog ako, not because antok na ako but, because ayaw ko abutan ako ng sunrise.
Grabe naman kasi. Ang galing ng mga Koreans gumawa ng drama series di ba? I love looking at the characters. Ang gaganda ng skin nila. Ang dewy! Parang gusto ko mamakyaw ng Korean beauty products. Gusto ko din magbabad everyday sa derma to achieve that skin. Nahawa din ako sa pagkain nila ng food. When we went to Duty Free, namakyaw ako ng cup noodles. I eat them now with Kimchi. I asked nga my friends, Ai and Mabel, yesterday na bakit ganun? Koreans eat a lot of instant ramen. Di ba masama yun? Pero sila yun ang kinakain almost every day. Special ba ang ramen nila? Like hindi siya like dito na puno ng preservatives? I told Alvin parang gusto ko sa Korea na lang magpunta for our 10 years anniversary.
I’m done na with My Love from the Star and W. Ang isusunod ko is Goblin because it seems ang popular niya and madaming may gusto. Kaya guys, wag kayo magugulat if no show na naman ako dito ha? Kinakain na talaga ata ako ng systema. Hahahaha!
Anyway, habang I’m not watching, and that’s only because Alvin went home early and nahiya naman ako manood ng Koreanovela ulit, ito, ikwento ko this charming Filipino restaurant that I discovered in Nasugbu, Batangas.
The restaurant’s name is Kainan sa Dalampasigan. It’s tucked in a quiet barangay in Nasugbu.
If yung restaurant muna ang pinaguusapan, I like it. It feels really homey. The ambiance is parang you visited your lola’s house in the province then kakain ka ng home cooked meals niya. It’s airy and the interior of the house is filled with lush plants.
Bahay ni lola ang peg talaga.
The food is true to the ambiance. Home cooked ang peg and ang sarap niya.
One of my favorites that they served there is the iced tea shake. It was so refreshing! Gusto ko ng isa pa pero I had to make room for the other food that we ordered.
We ordered the baked tahong. The tahong was fresh. Tamang tama lang yung cheese. Hindi siya yung tipong tinipid ang cheese para masabing may cheese #YouKnowWhatIMean
Sa sisig, there was a cruchy part and meron din chewy part. Tamang tama lang ang luto.
We also ordered their Kare-kare which I wasn’t able to take photos of kasi parang gone in 60 seconds ang peg. Hahaha.
And yung famous halo halo nila.
Everything was masarap. Yung kare kare lumalaban sa kare kare of my mother in law. Ka Lydia makes great kare kare so ang standards ko ay mataas. Hahaha!
The halo halo (which I think was their specialty) was a great ending to our meal. Creamy siya and like the tahong, hindi tinipid yung sahog.
Kainan sa Dalampasigan started as a small snack bar which was serving food to the pelota playing buddies of the owners, the Limjocos and Lucases. The recipe was passed by Lola Doray Limjoco to her daughter, Baby Lucas and to her granddaughters as well. They have preserved the original recipes for 35 years! Imagine! Kaya sabi ko sa inyo, ang sarap talaga. Lutong bahay na lutong bahay ang peg.
So if you are going to or coming from a beach trip to Nasugbu, Batangas, I am recommending this restaurant as a stop over for lunch or snacks.
